Privacy Policy

What this covers

This policy describes what happens to information you send us through this website. It does not describe the Neem platform itself, which is not yet open to patients.

What we collect

Only what you type into the pilot registration form: your name, phone number, email address, the organisation you work with, your location, and, if you are a doctor, your specialty and years of practice, together with anything you add in the free-text box. We also record the date and time you gave your agreement to be contacted.

We do not collect health information through this website, and you should not send any.

Why we hold it

To contact you about taking part in the Neem pilot. That is the only purpose. We ask for your agreement on the form before you submit it, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time by emailing us.

Where it is stored, and who else handles it

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., a company based in the United States. When you submit the form, Netlify receives it and stores it for us, and sends us an email to say that somebody has applied. Your details are therefore held on Netlify’s servers, outside Ghana.

Netlify holds this information on our behalf and under our instructions. It is not theirs to use, and we have not given them permission to use it for their own purposes.

Because Netlify serves every page of this site, its servers also see the ordinary technical details of a visit (the address your device is connecting from, and which page was requested) in the same way any web host does.

If we later move this to Neem’s own systems, we will update this page to say so.

Who sees it

The Neem team. The list of sign-ups sits behind a password and is not published anywhere. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own purposes.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies, carries no analytics, and loads nothing from advertising or tracking companies. The fonts and images come from this site itself rather than from somebody else’s network. There is nothing here that follows you to another website.

How long we keep it

For as long as the pilot programme is running, and then no longer than we need it. If you ask us to delete your details we will do so, unless we are required to keep them.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we will.
